Melanie Noonan
Senior Project Manager
Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple University. During Temple’s rigorous five-year program, she studied abroad at the Temple Rome campus—an experience that deepened her appreciation for historic architecture and how cultures evolve by building upon and integrating the old with the new.

Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2005, Melanie has cultivated a deep understanding of the region’s architectural landscape. She joined Z Group in 2011 and now serves as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, she leads projects from conceptual design through construction completion, offering strategic oversight, technical expertise, and thoughtful design direction. Her extensive experience spans a diverse range of project types, and she is highly adept at navigating local codes, municipal processes, and site-specific challenges.

Melanie thrives in collaborative environments and brings a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset to each phase of the design and construction process. While she has worked across project types, her passion lies in residential architecture—whether transforming existing spaces or creating new homes that thoughtfully balance form, function, and individuality.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys road-tripping with her family, camping, white water rafting, hiking with her dogs, and making the most of the outdoors. She remains active in her community through her daughter’s school and church.
