Office Ski Day

It’s not every day that you get to take a break from the office and spend the day skiing and snowboarding with your colleagues. Our Z Group Team decided to take Friday off to hit the slopes and enjoy a winter getaway in Snowmass.
The day started off with a few early risers seeking first chair. The rest of us joined in afterwards, ready and well rested to tackle the terrain. We had a great time taking turns on different runs and challenging each other to keep up. Gus was definitely leading the charge in speed!
The day was filled with plenty of laughter and good-natured competition. We pushed each other to take on tougher terrain and explore the mountain.
We enjoyed our stay at Slider's Cabin, a warming hut on Snowmass Mountain. It was a welcomed break for a beer and BBQ lunch. Scott was grill master, cooking up delicious burgers and brats. Our friends from Connect One Design stopped by, too!
We were all feeling the fatigue after a day of playing in the snow, but we were also feeling a sense of camaraderie that only comes from spending the day together. We ended the day with some hot cocoa and cocktails at Snowmass's Base Village, which will be remembered for a long time.
The Z Group Team looks forward to this team-building activity every year... or powder day. Connecting with each other beyond the office walls is an important part of how we create strength in our communication and creativity. At Z Group Architects, we believe that it’s important to take time to relax and have fun.
