Mid-mountain on Snowmass, The Cabin—formerly Lynn Britt Cabin—has been transformed by Z Group Architecture & Interior Design into a refined alpine destination that merges rustic charm with modern comfort. Working closely with Aspen Skiing Company, Z Group redesigned the cabin’s interiors and back-of-house areas while enhancing outdoor spaces to support an immersive dining and après-ski experience.

Enhancing the outdoor entertainment experience is a massive retractable roofs and operable glass walls now blur the line between sheltered indoor dining and the surrounding landscape, offering year-round versatility. Outside, custom-designed firepits, lounge seating, and a vibrant après scene, including a DJ booth, full bar, and the popular Sumo Dog stand, invite guests to linger slope-side.

From refined European-inspired lunches to casual outdoor bites and snowcat dinners, The Cabin has become a hospitality landmark on Aspen Snowmass’ largest mountain. As Aspen Snowmass describes, “The Cabin combines Western ambiance with a vibrant atmosphere…a spectacular setting for a leisurely lunch and an après scene that’s hard to resist.”

Additionally, Z Group designed and built both the Coney Express Lift shack adjacent to The Cabin and the race course shack situated above it—seamlessly integrating these elements into the mountain’s landscape and operations.
