Southern Ute Justice Center
Historic Public Community Facility | Interior Renovation and Addition
Castle Rock, Colorado
The Southern Ute Indian Tribe Justice Center houses the Tribal Police headquarters, courts, jail, and gaming offices. As an extension of the existing 120 year old "Classical" through "Frontier Style" Indian Reservation Campus, this large new building located on an adjacent site, had the substantial design challenge of striving to compliment the existing historic architecture while also expressing the cultural individuality of the South Ute People.
