Z Group's Senior Interior Architect, Marina Skiles, is an industry gem whose expertise shines particularly bright in residential lighting design. Marina's vast experience and innovative thinking were recently celebrated at a prominent industry event, the CEDIA Convention. There, she shared the panel with luminaries from Lutron, leaders in intelligent interior lighting.

An alumna of the University of Arkansas, Marina has accumulated over two decades of experience in architectural and interior design. However, her skills extend far beyond architecture and planning. Marina commands a distinctive expertise in lighting design, a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of interior aesthetics.

At the CEDIA Convention, Marina's knowledge shone when she spoke eloquently on integrating interior lighting with daylight in residential design. Sharing the stage with industry leaders Gregg Markell, Principal, HLB Lighting, and Andy Timmons, owner, ALEA Group, Marina explained how to help residents become more comfortable with their control systems.

Speaking about her experience, Marina adds, "It was an honor to express my opinions and insights about residential lighting design between such predominant figures in the industry, contributing to the dialogue on continued innovation and progression in the field."

Marina Skiles is a shining example of innovation and expertise in the architectural industry. Her work not only influences the aesthetics and functionality of spaces but also enriches the lives of their occupants, proving her immense value to Z Group and the greater design community.
