Hanna Werner

Director of Interiors

As a designer with a broad range of architectural, design, and construction experience, Hanna crosses the boundaries between architecture and interior design with high-end, custom residential projects. Her design philosophy is to create spaces that are meaningful, functional, beautiful, and timeless. Whether traditional or modern, every space is customized to meet and exceed the owners’ specific vision. Her ability to build inspirational teams between architects, builders, developers, consultants, and vendors is a natural talent. As a passionate leader, Hanna continues to craft a creative collaborative interior design department that is both dynamic and on trend.

Born and raised on Cape Cod, MA, in her mother’s childhood home, Hanna grew up in an artistic design driven family. She was drawn to architecture and design from a young age, as her mother is an artist and father is an architect. She even became certified in AutoCAD, began drafting, and had her first interior design internship in high school. Excelling in her craft, Hanna built a design portfolio from oil paintings and won a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as acquired a National Kitchen and Bath Association Studio at The Boston Architectural College. Before graduating from the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Hanna also studied abroad in Rome, Italy.

Now a Colorado local, the mountains called her home after working in Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Once settled in the Roaring Fork Valley, she discovered the heritage of her father’s family in Denver, Fort Collins, Fairplay, Glenwood Springs, and New Castle. Her great grandfather Mattivi was mayor of New Castle for many years and has his name on a Main Street building in Old Town. Just as her family history suggests, her heart and soul thrive in Colorado and the Roaring Fork community. She enjoys volunteering with Wind Walkers, painting, yoga, skiing, road biking, hiking, soaking in hot springs, paddle boarding, traveling, festivals, and live music. But most importantly, time well spent with friends and family.

Originally from Ohio, Carlie transplanted to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2008. When she is not at the office, you can find her teaching hot yoga at The Vimana House in Basalt, paddling down the Roaring Fork River, or mountain biking on the trails in Snowmass! She also enjoys volunteering with The Buddy Program and Habitat for Humanity.
