With a career spanning nearly four decades, Erin Hense brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for creating spaces that elevate the everyday. A graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and certified as both NCIDQ and LEED AP, Erin has shaped interiors for distinguished residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across the country, from luxury private homes in Montana to boutique hotels in Jackson Hole and Seattle.
After 30 years in the Pacific Northwest, Erin relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley, drawn by the majestic Rocky Mountains and the region’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Since joining Z Group, she has collaborated on high-profile projects, infusing each with her signature blend of sustainability, sophistication, and intuitive design.
Beyond the studio, Erin is an avid skier, hiker, yogi, dog lover, and devoted supporter of the Aspen Animal Shelter and Windwalkers Ranch. She lives in Basalt with her husband and two children, finding inspiration daily in the mountain landscapes and tight-knit community surrounding her.
