Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Andrea (Andie) Glinn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from Kansas State University, where she graduated in 2005. Her academic journey also included studies abroad at Coburg University in Germany and at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark, specializing in Scandinavian Furniture Design. This diverse educational background has instilled in her a profound appreciation for design that captures the essence of simplicity, nature, and elegance.

With nearly two decades of interior architecture experience, Andie has established herself as a notable designer in luxury residential and curated commercial spaces. She has contributed to numerous award-winning projects across major cities including Kansas City, New York, Chicago, Austin, Aspen, and San Francisco. Her aesthetic philosophy, significantly shaped by her studies in Scandinavia, emphasizes clean lines, natural textures, organic forms, and biophilic elements that foster a seamless connection to nature. At Z Group Architecture & Interior Design, Andie’s hybrid role integrates design concepts holistically, collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and clients. Her expertise extends to sourcing and procuring furniture, fixtures, finishes, and artwork. Passionate about mentoring, she is dedicated to guiding others in the nuances of creating meaningful, bespoke spaces that endure over time.

Outside of her professional life, Andie enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, and beach outings. She treasures time spent with her three children—Emmy, Isla, and Orien—and her two beloved dogs, Teddy and Boo. Andie finds joy in exercise, dancing, and attending music festivals. A freelance writer with a penchant for thrift and antique shopping, she delights in discovering local artisans and makers during her travels. With her partner Andy, she shares her time between Kansas City, Aspen, and Austin, making the most of each vibrant community they embrace.
