Studio Manager | Procurement Specialist

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Abby Crawford was adopted as an infant and raised just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers University before launching a successful full-service salon, which she co-owned and operated for more than a decade. Her entrepreneurial journey eventually brought her to Aspen, where a love for the Roaring Fork Valley inspired her to make Colorado home. Along the way, Abby also pursued her passion for aviation, becoming an instrument-rated Rotorcraft Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and continuing to expand her knowledge with plans for advanced mountain and turbine flight training.

As Z Group's Procurement Specialist and Studio Manager, Abby oversees interior procurement and supports the firm's day-to-day operations, helping projects and people stay organized, efficient, and moving forward. Her diverse background in entrepreneurship, operations, retail, hospitality, and aviation has given her a proactive mindset and an ability to see the bigger picture while managing countless details behind the scenes. She enjoys creating systems that support the team and contribute to a seamless client experience.
 

Outside the office, Abby embraces an adventurous Colorado lifestyle. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, skydiving, yoga, calisthenics, and handstands, drawing on her background as a former competitive gymnast. Her interests also include houseplants, gemology, aviation, and entrepreneurship. At home, Abby is kept company by her two Pomeranians, Maximus and Bear, who happily rule the household.
